Run
For Your Veins
Go for a run. Your blood vessels will thank you some day.
Researchers have found that the lining of the veins and arteries of runners, cyclists and triatheletes in their 60s is in the same shape as people half their age
In a study published in the American Heart Association's Circulation journal, senior athletes had blood vessels that functioned just as well as people in their 20s, weather or not the younger folks themselves were avid exercisers.

Doctors who ran the Italian exercise - blood vessel study said the aerobic activity -- whether you consider yourself an athlete or not -- keeps the crucial lining of the vessels young.
Exercise makes the veins and arteries expand more efficiently, thus staving off the aging process.

The research said you didn't have to run marathons to get the benefit.
Just aerobic activity several times a week was beneficial.
